Privacy Policy
This policy explains what RxToYou does with information collected through this website. It does not govern the RxToYou portal, which is covered separately below.
Two different things, two different rules. This website is a marketing site. It has no login, no database and no member data. The RxToYou portal is a separate product that handles protected health information under contract with health plans and their partners — see The portal and protected health information.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by RxToYou LLC, 402 W Broadway, Suite 1260, San Diego, CA 92101, United States. For questions about this policy, contact info@rxtoyou.com.
2. What this website collects
This site has no account system, no forms that store submissions and no content management system behind it. The information it can collect is limited to:
- What you send us. If you email the address on this site, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to include in it. We use that to reply to you and to follow up about a possible business relationship.
- Standard server records. Requests to this site are served by our hosting provider, which records technical details such as IP address, approximate location, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These records exist to deliver the site, keep it available and protect it from abuse.
This site does not ask for, and is not intended to receive, health information about any individual. Please do not send member names, prescriptions, claim details or any other health information by email.
3. Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own. It contains no analytics, advertising, or session-recording scripts, and no embedded third-party content. Our hosting provider may set cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver and secure the site.
If we later add analytics or similar tools, we will update this policy to say what they collect and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
4. How we use information
We use website information only to respond to enquiries, to operate and secure the site, and to understand demand for our services at an aggregate level. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share website information with service providers who act on our behalf — our hosting provider and our email provider — and with professional advisors where necessary. We may also disclose information where required by law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep business correspondence for as long as needed for the relationship it concerns and for any period required by law. Server records are kept for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by writing to info@rxtoyou.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows.
RxToYou LLC is a California company, so California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. RxToYou does not sell or share personal information. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under other privacy laws, such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation.
8. The portal and protected health information
The RxToYou portal is a separate product from this website and is not covered by this policy.
In the portal, RxToYou acts as a business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Protected health information is handled under business associate agreements with the covered entities we serve, and is used and disclosed only as those agreements and applicable law permit.
If you are a plan member, the notice that governs your health information is the notice of privacy practices issued by your health plan, not this policy. Your plan is the right first point of contact for questions about your own information.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information in our care. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
This website is intended for business use and is not directed to children.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
